Additional information guided tour "Coastal Battery"

Thank you for signing up for the "Coastal Battery" tour

Below is additional information about the tour.

We expect you at the fire station at 12:50 at the latest. I would like to point out the following:

General:

• The bridge over the harbor opens on the hour for pleasure craft. (see diagram below)
• The start and end point of the tour is the square in front of the bombproof barracks 'Haerlem', the address is Plein fort Haerlem 1 Hellevoetsluis;
• We ask you to report to our visitors' room at the fire station (where the flag is hanging);
• The tour starts at 1:00 PM and lasts approximately 1.5 hours;
• There are some restrictions on the route for people with reduced mobility (we are happy to lend a hand, but if in doubt, ask about the possibilities in advance);
• Participation in the tour is at your own risk.

  

   

Facilities:

• You can usually park for free in the immediate vicinity of the barracks. Please note that you are only allowed to park in the spaces on the square in front of the barracks. The boxes are marked with a blue P. Fines can be issued for parking incorrectly on the square;
• You can also park behind the town hall in the fortress. From there it is a 7-minute walk.
• We can be reached by phone on the day of the tour under number: 06 31 25 49 09;
• If you have chosen to pay on pickup, please note that you can NOT pay by card.
  Of course you can also transfer to bank number:

  with your order number as a description.
  If the name of the bank account number is different from the name of your registration, please state the name with which you registered in the description.

And finally:

• Think of decent footwear and the appropriate clothing. We don't always stay on paved paths;
• A flashlight is useful for the underground part;
